Unisex Jewellery

This string is from the Apothecary line. The jewels of the Apothicaire line are inspired by the ancient vials and bottles of apothecaries, ancestors of our pharmacies, which provided ointments, potions and rare products. If you are curious to know more about the atmosphere & history of this line, it is here !

This chain is 100 cm long, and is worn wrapped around the neck like a scarf. It can be worn in several different ways: as a simple scarf, or lined and then the bottles passed through the loop, or simply very long with a simple knot. The ends are finished with watch-inspired gusset clasps, to hang one or two pendants. The bottle pendants are to be chosen among the 3 bottles. Veratrine, Creosote and Helicopter.
It is possible to attach only one of the 3 vials to the two clasps of the chain, or one vial to each clasp. The caps can be unscrewed, allowing you to insert secret messages, powder, potion...

The chain used is the forçat ronde, a sturdy chain made in France.

In the middle of the chain is a silver label signed "Res Mirum" on the front, "Bijouterie de Curiosités" on the back.

The vial pendants represent small apothecary vials. They have been designed from real vials, which we have miniaturized.

- Veratrine is a product from a plant, with questionable curative virtues... because the plant is toxic. On the label of this bottle are engraved the inscriptions (in very small): "Bijouterie & Curiosités, Res Mirum, Roanne since 2010". Height of the bottle: 22 mm without the belly, 28 mm with the belly, width: 11 mm.

- Creosote is a product used notably in the pharmacopoeia in the past, and has a strong tar odour. On the label is engraved the name of the brand, Res Mirum. Height of the bottle: 28 mm without the bead, 34 mm with the bead, width: 13 mm.

- Helichrysum comes in the form of oil, from the immortal flower. On the label are engraved the inscriptions: "Bijouterie & Curiosités, Roanne since 2010, Res Mirum". Height of the bottle: 32 mm without the bead, 38 mm with the bead, width: 10 mm.

The chain is 1.5 mm thick and 100 cm long, strong and made in France.

Caution, it is recommended to ensure that the caps are properly tightened, as jerks, small shocks and vibrations due to carrying can cause the vials to unscrew and become detached.
